Today I want to talk about "Lying" . And I will present tree major parts about this topic, First, why people want to lie? ,Second ,why is lying wrong? And In the final , I will introduce some tips to detect lies.
Why people want to lie?? there are many reasons. some people said that the reason for lying is because that liers want to get some advantages from other people. like the children may tell to the parents that stomach invented on Monday morning to avoid going back to school, and some tend to avoid something terrible happening,and some people tell lies because want to get more attention.
However no matter what reason, there are many reason why people always think lying is wrong. First, lying diminish trust between people , if people generally didn't tell the truth, lift would become very difficult.because anything you hear or read couldn't be trusted, you need to find out everything by yourself. Otherwise, an untrusting world is also bad for liars, because lying is not much useful if people is doing it.
Second, because lying would mislead people, so it is difficult to make a free or informed decision about the matter they concerned. and the most serious is, lying corrupts the liar. Telling lies may become a habit and if
people become regularly indulges in one-form of wrong-doing , then they may wll become more comfortable with wrong-doing in general.
So , How to detect lies? In fact, when a person is tell lies, his body language would change ,The most obvious is that his arm and hand have less movements than usual, and the person is lying to you, he or she will avoid making eye contact to you. Moreover, they might unconsciously place some object between you and themselves. well take one common example that usually happen on us, your friend tell a joke , and maybe he want to know is it funny, Usually we would tell them it is funny even though you don't
think about it, then you will give them a smile that represent this joke is funny, but when you faking your emotion,the expression, only limited to mouth movement.Besides, we can detect lies by the context which they talk about, they tend to be general about the thing they say, and they become more structured
